Another day and another adventure 😎 & this is what we found in our travels…
We headed over to Santa Barbara to enjoy some beach time with our pup and decided to stay in Goleta California for a little staycation and an extra beach day. We were primarily looking for a dog friendly hotel that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg and we stumbled upon so much more at “The Goodland”.

From the moment you arrive it’s beautiful and breathtaking. The lobby is decorated so beautifully that you really want to take a dozen pictures of everything. When checking in we were greeted by an amazing staff member who made checking in the best experience ever. He offered us complimentary beer from a local brewery, because this is how they do check in @thegoodlandsb, they found our reservation quickly and gave us a map of the grounds. Then they put the cherry on top, of the whole check in process, by letting us know that happy hour started in an hour and consisted of complimentary wine by a local vineyard. Great wine BTW 🙌
The rooms were amazing, the pool was a perfect temperature, and their local restaurant onsite “Outpost at the Goodland” was really an unexpected treat. We only went there for an appetizer and stayed for a four course dinner plus dessert! The weather was perfect and the décor and ambience were all on point. There was bonfire areas, string lights, and great music. Our pup was even allowed and able to sit near the table 😍 We had so much fun that night that I don’t have any pictures or video but you get the idea.
Now, take a look and enjoy this YouTube video of my visit to “The Goodland” in Goleta, California. This hotel experience was so great that I want to go back real soon.
By the way I now want to visit all Kimpton Hotels (lol) because they are all so cute and have their own theme and experience to offer!

I hope to inspire you to get out there and really see the world. Get out of your comfort zone, go explore, meet new people and have life changing experiences. We only live once and there is so much to see.
